So, I put my first ever add on Criag’s List yesterday.  Trying to sell some furniture to get ready for my girlfriend to move in.  Got my first response to the add when I got into work this morning.  IT WAS SPAM!  Not happy at this point.  Below is the email I recieved:

** CRAIGSLIST ADVISORY — AVOID SCAMS BY DEALING LOCALLY
** Avoid: wiring money, cross-border deals, work-at-home
** Beware: cashier checks, money orders, escrow, shipping
** More Info: http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams.html

No, I never did get any calls. I also never did click on any of the links that the email provided. Not sure what would happen if you did. Just decided it was not worth trying to find out.
